This is an environmentally responsible structure to be rated by the US Green Building Council. The buildings are approximately 33,000 SF each. Two new tilt-up concrete buildings approximately 33,000 SF each, located at the Chino Waste Water Treatment Facility for the administrative, executive, and engineering offices. Use of skylights, absorption chillers, radiant floor heating, dual flush toilets, low voc glues/paints/caulk, radiant floor heating, cool roof, daylighting controls, and much more. The landscape contains approximately 12 acres of native plantings, extensive drip irrigation system with over 12,000 drip heads, use of 100% recycled water for irrigation, 12,000 SF water feature, pervious parking lots, locally harvested decomposed granite walkways, use of rubberized mulch, and many more innovative green materials.
