TG Construction provided preconstruction and construction services for this 18,000 SF, three-story concrete, CMU, and steel Education Building. From conceptual estimating through completion, a four year period providing constructability review, budgeting, value engineering, and competitive bidding prior to construction. Construction was completed two months ahead of schedule and within budget. All construction was phased to work within the requirements of the church’s on-going education and worship activities. Demolition of existing structures was coordinated to be done in phases allowing the fullest use of each existing portion of the campus prior to construction of the new facility. The project also included major site improvements with a new courtyard including steel colonnades with themed glass panels, two new parking lots, and the renovation of an existing parking lot. TG worked with the owner coordinating themed interior finishes of the building that included three dimensional sets and structures within the lobby, corridors, and classrooms.
